This past weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the 2nd annual Boston JerkFest. The family-friendly Caribbean style food festival was held at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology located in Boston's South End. With the warmth of the sun on our backs, the soulful sounds of live Caribbean music in our ears and the delicious smell of freshly cooked food wafting through the air all of our senses were being caressed at this event!
Being a Boston native it was
heart warming to see the Caribbean culture brought to the South End. Showcasing spicy food, refreshing drinks and live music this event was a hit. It was a beautiful sight to see everyone genuinely enjoying themselves and this event had a little something for everyone young and old!
I look forward to next years event and seeing how this event grows and impacts our city.
